Good to see Irish Hospice Foundation organise such a great event. Over 250 people attended the event in The Alexander Hotel. Lots of people there had a story to tell and there was a good line up of speakers, especially Laura Kennedy (Columnist with The Irish Times, freelance writer, journalist and author of the personal reflection column ‘Leavetaking’). This was a very worthwhile event and was well worth attending.
There were many Information Stands hosted by Volunteer Bereavement Support Services and Professional Therapeutic Services. Two that stood out were A Little Lifetime Foundation and Féileacáin who had volunteers on hand and credit to every other stand that presented.
