Hi everyone from Yvonne Gilbert and Jack Teehan and SOFT Ireland
As most of you know by now my beautiful little girl Ayla has both down syndrome and Edward syndrome. When she was born we were told she wouldn’t make it gladly she is nearly 7 and is doing amazing proving everyone wrong.
Edward’s syndrome is and extra chromosome 18 and unfortunately kids sometimes either pass in the womb or sadly pass before their first birthday. Ayla has surpassed all these and is doing amazing thankfully, but there has been a lot of help along the way and one of them amazing charity’s is SOFT Ireland who support family who have kids with Edward Syndrome and who have lost a child from Edwards syndrome.
As part of my boyfriend’s Jack Teehan college course he has to do a fundraiser and after telling his classmates all about our beautiful Ayla they have decided to do a fundraiser for SOFT Ireland and Samaritans two very worthy charities
If anyone is in a position to buy a raffle tickets we would really appreciate it and it’s going to a very worthy cause who we benefit first hand as a family from and have help Ayla since she was a baby.
