The AIB Community €1 Million Fund 2026

 

The AIB Community €1 Million Fund enables customers, the public and employees to support the local charities that matter most to them, within their region. The Fund supports charities across six regions in Ireland, Northern Ireland & Great Britain. AIB will once again allocate €700,000 to charities chosen by its customers and the community, while €300,000 will be donated to charities chosen by employees.

We are proposing just to nominate the Dublin Region which includes Dublin, Meath, Kildare and Wicklow to maximise our chances.

We would like as many members, their family and friends as possible to fill it out ASAP

The AIB Community €1 Million Fund opens annually, each Summer. AIB customers and the general public can nominate a registered charity by filling out the nomination form online at

aib.ie/community-fund

Nominations are now open for 2026 and Click on Nominate Now

The top six charities chosen by customers and communities in each region will receive €20,000, while the top six charities chosen by AIB employees in each region will receive €6,000

Nominations will close on 19 June 2026. The reviewing process will take place over the Summer and the top six charities in each region are announced in Autumn 2026.

  7. One sentence on why your charity should receive support from the fund

S.O.F.T. Ireland needs funding for a Respite Break for families who have or had a child with Patau’s Syndrome (Trisomy 13) or Edwards’ Syndrome (Trisomy 18) as parents with special children/adults would get support for a break and Respite Breaks provide an opportunity for parents and families to recharge.
