SOFT Newsletter 2026 due in Aug

We are stopped accepting articles for our Newsletter 2026 and looking for sponsors. Articles and Sponsor queries to soft.fundraising@gmail.com. Deadline for articles was 31 May 2026. It started at the Autumn Break/AGM where Molly O’Reilly took it on as a challenge for this year. Contents will have the usual, the committee list, greetings from the chair, jokes corner, fundraisers, Autumn Break 6-8 Nov 2026, Vhi Mini Marathon etc. Thanks to John Lambert Design for layout and for printing Jaycee Print. The layout is just complete and articles are in and is getting ready for printing. We are still not finished then as envelopes, stamps, address / return labels and heads up letter on Autumn Break 6-8 Nov 2026. Don’t forget putting them into the post box our end and wait for them to drop your end.

Our Newsletter will be posted to all members and will drop through your letterboxes around early August. It will be in the new A5 style and Full Colour and be filled with information, stories, outings, fundraising, photos and a great deal more. It’s a great way to communicate with our members and will be a great read. The feedback has been very positive in previous years. The Newsletter will be coordinated by Molly O’Reilly this year. We have collected stories, photos, articles, fundraising ideas and much more.

We still rely on our members to come up with something no matter how small or disjointed it may be. Try your hand at writing and it doesn’t have to be about SOFT in its entirety as we will take whatever you come up with. The deadline was 31May 2026. We had to close then as we needed to allow for Lay Up, Printing and Distribution.

Also an important letter about the Autumn Break 6-8 November 2026 will be enclosed to members in the newsletter. If any member does receive a newsletter copy you may just need to update your details including your email address and please contact soft.fundraising@gmail.com and we can help sort it. It will be a great read and long may it continue especially with your support

We are looking for sponsorship next year and will leave a page for that. But at the moment it is blank and we are open to offers.
