Bereavement Care Following Pregnancy Loss and Perinatal Death pdf book

A team of healthcare professionals have spent the last two years working on the implementation of the National Standards for Bereavement Care Following Pregnancy Loss and Perinatal Death.

One of the outputs and the culmination of the two years’ work was the launch of the PREGNANCY AND INFANT LOSS IRELAND website in April 2019.

This website, the first of its kind in Ireland was developed in response to parents informing us that they found it difficult at the time of their pregnancy loss to access information relevant to Perinatal Bereavement care and Perinatal bereavement services in Ireland.

The website is also a resource for staff with a lot of information available including about staff support structures, staff education available, recent research and relevant national documents all available in the one place.

To ensure widespread publicity and awareness of the website I would appreciate if you give consideration to putting a link to the website on your own organisations website. This would allow greater visibility of the website to bereaved parents and hospital staff who may find it useful.

S.O.F.T. Ireland is included in the list of support groups.
