“Gardening and Art reduces feelings of grief”

You never completely get over the loss of a child, but the most intense feelings will lessen over time as you learn how to cope. When you lose a child it is difficult to contemplate the future. Gardening and art provides an activity in which you can gently move forwards and experience positivity as you plant bulbs or seeds and then watch them grow. Gardening will improve your emotional wellbeing and your physical health, both of which will help you to positively work through your grief. You can do it alone or you can include your family and friends in your gardening and art for support and company

Stress can be defined as a state of worry or mental tension. Stress is a natural response that prompts us to deal with challenges and threats in our lives The loss of a child would be one of the most stressful situations that can happen to you. Gardening and art can decrease stress levels during bereavement.
