We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to make a difference while embracing adventure—the Cycle and Climb Charity Challenge on 24th and 25th July!

Challenge Details:

24th July: Cycle 250km from Kells to Westport via Galway
25th July: Climb the iconic Croagh Patrick in Westport

This event supports two incredible causes: Little Blue Heroes and SOFT Ireland.We invite you to join us in making a positive impact by participating in one or more of the following ways:

Cycling: Pedal your way through scenic routes for a great cause.
Climbing: Conquer Croagh Patrick and enjoy breathtaking views.
Fundraising: Help us raise funds to support these important charities.
Volunteering: Offer your time and skills to ensure the event runs smoothly.
General Support: Cheer us on and spread the word!

The Cyclists and Climbers will be using BUCKETS at strategic locations on the cycle and climb so if you see them give them a cheer and more importantly put something in the bucket!

Whether you’re an avid cyclist, a passionate climber, or simply want to contribute, your involvement will make a significant difference. If you’re interested in joining this adventure, please reach out to either Miceal or myself for more information. Not everyone will be cycling and some more may do the climb which is no mean feat either. Either way everyone is invited to Kells to see them off and even better to go to Croagh Patrick to watch them climb. It will be a great occasion to see lots of Red SOFT T Shirts on top of the Reek or at Saint Patrick’s Statue at the bottom. Here is hoping for a nice day.

They will meet around 11 am to climb Croagh Patrick on Fri 25 July 2025.
